About the Project

Rope Diamond Ferruled Mesh proves its versatility at the Salt Lane Multi-Storey Car Park in Coventry. This mesh netting is not only a cost-effective safety barrier, preventing falls, but it also doubles as bird netting, minimising unwanted avian access whilst allowing excellent ventilation and abundant natural light to fill the space. Installation is quick and easy, making it an ideal choice for many applications.

Locker Architectural were sub-contracted by Ardmore Construction to design, supply and install over 2,000m2 of Rope Diamond Ferruled mesh for use at Greenwich Design District. The project was hailed as a great success and featured on the cover of Architects Journal.

Specified by Architecture 00, buildings C1 and D1 fully utilise the unparalleled flexibility of this mesh for façade cladding, balustrading, bird netting and forming a state of the art rooftop Multi-use games area.

The transparency of the mesh is intended to strip back to the most basic of building components, while affording tenants with a truly impressive view of the surroundings.  The stairs and lifts are also on the exterior of the building, truly connecting the interior and exterior of the buildings.

At Luton Airport Multi-storey Car Park, Rope Diamond Ferruled architectural wire mesh delivers a dual solution. It acts as a robust physical barrier, preventing falls and deterring unwanted access, while simultaneously serving as effective bird netting. This visually appealing mesh is not only cost-effective and easy to install, but it also promotes excellent ventilation and allows abundant natural light to fill the space.

Below the netting, Viking SP mesh panels are installed as infills to vehicle impact barriers.
