Locker Architectural were sub-contracted by Ardmore Construction to design, supply and install over 2,000m2 of Rope Diamond Ferruled mesh for use at Greenwich Design District. The project was hailed as a great success and featured on the cover of Architects Journal.

Specified by Architecture 00, buildings C1 and D1 fully utilise the unparalleled flexibility of this mesh for façade cladding, balustrading, bird netting and forming a state of the art rooftop Multi-use games area.

The transparency of the mesh is intended to strip back to the most basic of building components, while affording tenants with a truly impressive view of the surroundings.  The stairs and lifts are also on the exterior of the building, truly connecting the interior and exterior of the buildings.

Aluminium Brocklebank 20/5 mesh at 2 Cumberland Place Dublin.

Over 500 panels of Brocklebank 20/5 were used to create the bronze fins which add texture to this modern glass façade.

The mesh was sandwiched in a box section frame, before being powder coated.

The mesh was installed by GLF Façade Specialists and specified by Billings Design Associates.

In tandem with the perforated metal supplied by others, the mesh forms a brise soleil for the office workers within the building.

The mesh is formed from a combination of flat and round wires. The end result is a robust, completely opaque product, more visually similar to embossed sheet metal than a woven mesh. Perfect for high-end projects.

Dependent on your application and criteria, Jacobson 612 is available in the following materials:

A secondary powder-coated, or anodised (aluminium only) finish can also be applied in a myriad of different colours and effects.

Metals in the warp and weft directions (horizontal and vertical) can be mixed to achieve stunning visual effects e.g. brass wire running vertically and stainless steel running horizontally.
