Biscay 7 Spiral Mesh Curtain complete with Copper Painted Finish utilised to create a magnificent decorative ceiling feature at the reception to Jackson house, a modern mixed-use office building in Sale, Manchester.
Dubbed affectionally as “the swirl”, the Biscay mesh Specified by Garnett Netherwood Architects, forms the pivotal piece at the heart of this refurbishment project, installed by Contract Services Ltd.
The curtain mesh is suspended from wires back to the ceiling, giving the impression that it is floating.
Biscay 7 architectural wire mesh installed as mesh curtains at the British Film Institute, London.
The mesh acts as an innovative acoustic baffle and a visual break to the ceiling. The curtain configuration allows for unimpeded operation of air conditioning and sprinklers.
