About the Project

Shinfield Studios is a state of the art, studio facility located close to Reading in Berkshire.

For this project, a bold entrance gantry was envisioned, that provides a high visual impact, and brand identity. To achieve this, expanded metal mesh was chosen as the ideal cladding material for the internal walls and soffit of the gantry.

Locker's Broadway expanded metal mesh pattern was used for it's bold, open texture. Fabricating the mesh into 3m long frames allowed strong visual lines to be achieved with minimal installation costs.

The mesh is finished in a vibrant "Traffic Yellow" (RAL 1023) polyester powder coating, which appears to glow in natural daylight,  and provides the strong focal point in accordance with the design intent.
